Camping and booking

No, at Besseggen Fjellpark, Maurvangen, we offer a pitch guarantee. You can arrive whenever it suits you, without pre-booking.

Cabins can easily be booked through our website. You’re also welcome to contact us if you need any assistance.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is before 11:00 AM.

Yes, most of our cabins are suitable for guests with dogs, and the surrounding area is ideal for walks and outdoor activities with your four-legged companions.

You will receive a 100% refund if you cancel more than 2 weeks before arrival, a 50% refund if you cancel 1–2 weeks before arrival, and no refund if you cancel less than 1 week before arrival.

Facilities and your stay

We offer modern service facilities with showers, toilets, and a guest kitchen. You’ll also find a mountain shop, café, waste disposal station, and electrical hook-ups.

We are located at Maurvangen, at the gateway to Jotunheimen – with easy access to Besseggen and the Gjende boat.

Most people take the Gjende boat from Gjendesheim to Memurubu and hike back across the mountains.
